1 - Take up (sth)

👉 to fill space or time; to begin to do something
👉 佔據空間或時間、開始做某事。

📰例句 

⭐ I have recently taken up yoga. 
我最近開始練瑜伽了。

⭐ These books are taking up all the space in my room. 
這些書佔據了我房間的所有空間。📚

2 - Take off

👉 An aircraft, bird, or insect leaves the ground and begins to fly;
to suddenly leave somewhere
👉 起飛、突然離開。

  ⭐ He was at the party for about 15 minutes, and then he took off.

3 - Take in (sth)
