5.也可以表示‘使變得；使成為’，和‘cause~ to be或become~’類似

她明確表示反對。

6.做出（決定、估計等）= to decide/ guess
make a decision, guess, comment
做出決定；猜測；建議
7.表現；表示；描繪(represent)

你把我的鼻子畫得太大了。
8.任命 = appoint
選舉；挑選；任命（考試常常會有這個喔！）

9.合計；等於 ; 估算
5 and 7 make 12.
5加7等於12。

make sure : 確認，明確
Make sure you bought all the groceries.

make a complaint : 抗議；提出投訴
She made a complaint about the poor hotel service.
